A little about me and Why I love family portraiture

I grew up outside of Philly but I’ve lived in the DC area since 2005 and recently moved to Ashburn, VA. My husband, our daughter and hound dog, Sadie love being closer to farms and the great outdoors. Loudoun county is a beautiful backdrop for family portraiture! I love photography and being a full-time mama to a growing kid. Being a lifestyle family photographer is a dream job. I always have a camera with me, usually my phone, and I am always documenting our family life. When I am not photographing families and children I love to photograph architecture and nature, taking trips, crafting and doing fun hobbies with our daughter. My favorite time of the year is autumn and I think it’s the best time of year to take family photos.

As a mother I know how time is fleeting, especially with our children and how important it is to document the years and all the special events in between. It’s quite amazing to see how much our kiddos change and grow in just a year. Personally I love having family photos taken every year because I know how important it will be to have photos of all of us together - a snapshot of where we were, what we looked like, and what we we’re doing.
